I created this book page for my first design assignment in Design 150. For this assignment, I created a book spread that showcased the programming language Java using Adobe Illustrator.
Taking Design 150 has allowed me to expand my design knowledge, as the course has exposed me to new readings and movies regarding design that I had not seen before. Additionally, this class has allowed me to see the work of my peers through weekly critique sessions. Especially during an online environment, having time to talk with my peers about our design work has been beneficial. This class has pushed me to think about design in different ways, for instance thinking about how the design of a product or system can be presented in a 2D format. In the future, I hope to continue expanding my knowledge about areas of design I am less familiar with, such as the design of typefaces.
