I took Design 166 in winter quarter. Throughout this class I practiced my design skills through various projects. I found this course challenging in a remote environment as all studio sessions, critiques, and classes were held over zoom.

One of my final projects, a magazine cover for The New York Times Magazine based on a past article, was created through Adobe Illustrator. Throughout my process making this cover, I used creative ideation techniques such as mind maps and thumbnail sketches in order to determine which compositional ideas I should persue.
For another project in the class were were tasked to make a game with a piece of cardboard. In addition to the final game, we were also tasked to create instructions to create the game (shown below). For my project, I created a vertical maze with modular track pieces so that the player could create customized courses.
